I have a gbc with a q5 osd (not the lamitated one) and there is no bleed at all.
I think it only happens on translucent shells, as expected.

almost every custom gameboy I have has been assembled from scratch.
my white sp was a motherboard I had lying around.
my glacier gba was beat pretty bad, otherwise it was completely functional. still have the original shell (white) and screen somewhere.
my gb light is actually my second gb light, both have missing lines and both are unfixable, I opted to replace the shell so I didn't had to cut the original one.
for all my other gba's, I bought lone motherboards.
my dmg and color I bought them modded. biverting is hard to do correctly without getting dusk in the screen and the color found it at a good price, so just went ahead instead of doing it myself like I was planning to.
