/vr/ - Retro Games

Aw ye, my copy of Unlimited Saga has finally arrived, I ended up getting for it for only a few dollars (the shipping cost more than the game). From what little bit I've look up so far, it seems like Ventus might be a good choice to start with since he comes with Carrier quests. From what I've seen in this thread, this game was meant to be similar to tabletop gaming so that's kind of the mindset I'm going in with, d20 rolls and all. Given the reputation of the game, i'll probably have a guide open most of the time but really, I'm sure Unlimited isn't that hard. Any tips for getting into this game?
