classic mega man is so good.

Why is this generally considered the best Mega Man game? Usually when I see discourse about the NES games, this one is barely ever criticized. I've always personally enjoyed the 2nd NES trilogy due to its' faster pace, better level design and music (IMO). Thoughts?

Why did they add a baby difficulty for the western release? The game is already extremely easy even if you totally ignore the optimal order.

This, that is the story behind the US Megaman 2 box art with him holding a gun, the artist who did it said they showed him like 5 minutes of gameplay and he said "Hows he shooting those bullet out? Nostalgiafags are so insufferable. If they love a game so much why don't they go back and check if a better version has ever existed? Pic related, I honestly think the only NES Mega Man that's weaker than MM2 is MM5

Unpopular opinion: This is the third-weakest classic series Mega Man, ranking only above Mega Man 5 and Mega Man 3.

Most of the weapons are hot garbage except for Metal Blade, which is too strong for its own good. Also, the Wily Stages are visually bland and not designed very well at all, everything from the bosses to the levels turns to shit once all 8 robot masters are done for.
