In MM7 promotion for druid is warlock

Is this a thing or they just run out of ideas?

In AB Orwald from Mutare's campaign is druid but he is described as Warlock
I know it's because he is just Coronius with a different portrait so he could have Dragon Slayer specialty
but is this actually a part of official M&M lore?

So warlocks are druids who hate nature?
