MAD LAD. Make sure to keep the sharpness low (40% or lower) and also picture and brightness low too - lower picture all the way then bring up just to the point where you start to see pixel bloom in white colors. This maximizes the cozy softness of composite (or rf) w/ great scanlines.

True facts. Even better if you plug a shielded rca cable into the console then use a rca to f-type adapter to hook into tv.

Like many my retro hobby has also turned into a crt hobby. I have a half dozen consumer sets that I enjoy trying to get the best possible picture out of despite their limitations. For example pic related is a 20” rf-only Mitsubishi from the early 80s.
