$25 at a yard sale last summer. Was told the system didn't work but it just needed to be cleaned.

Picked this up today for $25. It was my last yard sale for the day too.

The family had two DS games on a table for 25 cents each so I asked them if they had any other kind of games they would be willing to sell. The guy just said: "You wouldn't be interested in old Nintendo games would you?" I just smiled and told him yes, and he ran inside and brought out a box with all of this in it.

He said he couldn't get the system to work anymore so he just asked for $25. I happily paid the man and we talked for a few minutes about old video games. He claimed to have a big collection of old games (100+ PS2 games, and maybe some others) in a storage unit that he didn't play anymore either since he has kids now and they play more with the newer consoles together. The lady with him also mentioned she thinks she has some Atari games. They asked for my contact info and said they would be looking through more of their old stuff soon and might call me if they find anything.

I went home to try out the system. Didn't read games like he said. I peeked inside the slot and saw something in the back. Turns out there was an old sticker that was caught in the 72 pin connector. I carefully pulled it out with a needle and cleaned the pins with alcohol. It works fine now.
