I agree. I bought one of these at a retro game store thinking it'd be great but ended up finding the d-pad almost unusable.

>If you absolutely must have a controller for fightan games on the DC, just get a Total Control 3 + Saturn controller, or just use an arcade stick.

This, however, is outdated advice, especially with regards to the TC3 (it's out of production and impossible to find now, although I did see one at the same retro game shop I got the ASCII pad from).
