Okay PC CRT anons, if I wanted to hook my RGB modded SNES to a VGA monitor, how would I do it properly? Google is somewhat vague on this.

Did anyone else have one of these?

Still have a soft spot for the SNES revision.

I found a SNES Jr. at Goodwill today. I've tested it out and it seems to work fine, for $25 it was one of the best finds I've had this year. Thing is, I already have an original SNES (2-chip as far as I can tell) set up in my gaming room. I'm considering taking the old one out and replacing it with the Jr, but I've heard mixed things about it. I know the Jr is more rare and therefore looks better on the shelf, but I don't really care about collector cred, I just want to use the console that works the best. The lack of s-video and RGB doesn't really matter to me, I'm doing it all through composite because a) muh authenticity and b) my switchbox only accepts composite.

What does /vr/ think? Should I take out the original SNES and replace it with the Jr? Are there any downsides to the Jr other than the composite-only thing?
