So... I fucked up. After clearing Nashkel, I started to wander the Sword Coast and clearing the various maps. God, it was the picture of comfiness.

Then I ran into the Sirens. They started Dire Charming my group and I used the Cloak of Algernon to charm them right back. Now, there's a bug where if you charm a charmed person, they turn permanently hostile when the second charm wears off. This is easily bypassed by temporarily removing them from your group and re-adding them.

It was late. I forgot that obviously won't work on the main character. So now, it's either Dire Charm him every 10 hours when the Cloak charm wears off throughout the Bandit Camps, Cloakwood, Baldur's Gate, Candlekeep and endgame, or just give up.

Feeling pretty demotivated.
