This is the best rpg ever made. Even to this day.

So, is 50 Eurobucks a good price for Chrono Trigger.

I live in a small german town, so I don't think I'd be able to get that one on some sort of flea market or in some retro-games shop.

Got a NTSC-SNES recently, and need some good games. What are other games I should get, which I can't on a PAL-console - besides Earthbound, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG?

JRPGs and WRPGs included. No MMORPG shit allowed though. My image shows Chrono Trigger as my favorite RPG as a kid, but now it would probably have to be Final Fantasy VI with Chrono Trigger at a close second.

Maybe not the absolute greatest of all time(because really, what game is), but a likely candidate.

Chrono Trigger plain and simple. The impressive and mood setting soundtrack, the deep and complex storyline, the memorable characters like Crono and Glenn, those skills and dat updated ATB system.

So whats with all of the endings in Chrono Trigger? And apparently I can beat the entire game by fighting Lavos just as I enter the end of time for the first time? man this is all getting pretty confusing.

Just finished LttP and now playing Chrono Trigger for the first time. Haven't had so much fun for years.

Just finished Chrono Trigger for the first time.

It was very "meh" for me. I couldn't really care less about most of the characters other than Frog.

Why do people rate it so highly? No troll thread.

Hey /vr/, staying up all night to help my friend with their final thesis paper. What retro games should I emulate in the meantime? I like RPGs, but I've only ever really played the more popular retro ones (Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Dragon Warrior series etc). Any suggestions?

Is Chrono Trigger full to bursting with Christian symbolism?

This game was so cool it used a redrawing of a scene from the game for it's box art. It didn't need any fancy scenes that weren't in the game to advertise it.

Watching a Lets Play of this game on youtube has made me want to play an rpg /vr/. Not Chrono Trigger obviously because I know the plot and everything, but something retro. Only RPG's I've ever played are Skies of Arcadia and a couple of Pokemon games, no idea where to start so any recomendations would be helpful.

the depth of the characters and atmosphere just draws you right in and keeps you hooked from start to finish. one of the best games in my opinion. i only see 7 threads about it every day
