Yeah from Yoshi's Island and a few other games, they're honest-to-God called "Fat Guys", true story.
I've always been partial to Spindrift aka Flower Head from Super Mario 64/DS. I thought they had a more unique design than the flower guys from Yoshi's Island and Paper Mario. They were apparantly going to appear in NSMBDS but got cut, and one of the UFO-looking "Torkdrift" boss from SMO is apparently supposed to be one of them despite looking nothing alike. I want them back.
