Did people actually like this game when it came out?
>No female playable characters
>Has limited lives (outdated concept)
>No easy mode
>Not accessible to those who want to play at a slower pace
>Sonic has an abrasive and generally rude personality

Yeah, its a no from me. I'd play Uniracers any day over this.

Even though its an action platformer, I always tend to play sonic 3 alone to chill, Maybe even kill some time.

Hi /vr/.
Just finished Sonic 1 and 2 and just wondered which version of 3 I should play/play first?
On a forum somebody suggested a custom patched version but it didn't make a whole lot of sense unfortunately.

There are a few bits in Sonic 3 that offer unique Tails/Knuckles gameplay. Narrow vertical corridors with spikes for Tails, and gliding from wall to wall with Knuckles.
