They're boring as fuck. Never liked adventure games and never will. Not a fan of "graphical story telling" in any medium besides film. I'd rather read a book and have my bing bing wahoo and shootin' separately.

Fighting games usually have the most diverse character casts, and why not? They're very accessible and widely distributed. If you're going to have a wide range of people accessing your games, it makes sense to give them a wide diversity of character choices.

Of course, a lot of computer RPGs allow you to generate your own character, which in most cases includes customizing race or skin tone.
