Any of you guys ever win some sort of contest for vidya loot back in the day? What'd you have to do to enter? What'd you win? Do you still have your prizes?
Or for those of us who were never so lucky, do any contests still stand out in your mind as ones you wanted to win desperately and were heartbroken when it didn't happen?

I still remember this one contest from packages of Crayola colored pencils. There was a special yellow sonic pencil that, if it turned green as you sharpened it, you could win a Genesis system. I still remember trying to cheat, opening a couple packs of pencils right there in the store and checking the bottom of the sonic pencils to see if they had green leads. Truly for me, cheaters new win.
