that pic was 240p@120hz. the specs of the monitor aren't bad, it's just the dynaflat tube samsung uses in them has a rather obvious lens effect going on. so if you look at the corners you can notice the interior curvature of the tube, and since you sit rather close to a pc monitor it's hard not to notice once you see it. i've seen moved onto a better monitor and gave that one to some guy who bought a 36" wega off me. here's a pic of my current tv, a kv-27fv310, running 240p over component.
