this retardation must stop. the NGPC is a hell of a lot of fun. the software may have been a bit limited but if youa re willing to dig you will find a few gems and the hardware is the best around at the time. way better colors than the gameboy color and to this day the best controls available on a handheld system (neo geo x got some of that right actually).

i love mine. neo ganbare poke kun and dark arts are my favorite games. but the metal slugs and sonic and last blade are great too. im getting mine front lit by rose colored gaming so i can play it wherever i want.

if this was /v/ i would say skyrim or morrowind. easy as fuck and a bajillion things to do.

since this is /vr/ i will suggest any and all kirby games especially superstar like previously mentioned. but i will also mention metal slug, they are super fun and easy to emulate and there are a bunch of them and since they are arcade games you can just play infinitely.

PS1 > Saturn > n64

PS1 has an incredible library (50+ incredible titles) and the controller is basically snes+. saturn has some really great titles despite its short lifetime (20+ incredible titles) as well, and the controller especially the second one was great. n64 is a blithering failure, cart size leads to some really small games, only first party titles and a fuckton of shovel ware (10+ incredible games). the n64 controller was horrid, although the hori minipad was a vast improvement. the worst part of the n64 is how few kinds of great games were on it. many of the shovelware on it were big releases too which is a detriment to its memory. the n64 is one of the weakest mainstream consoles of all time.
