It's also bugged to shit, if you manage to stand up, your aim angle is permanently stuck to the floor and you can't shoot anything anymore.
The feature sounds pretty interesting for co-op though, like some basic L4D-style teammate reviving, but I have no friends so it doesn't matter anyway.
