I bought a Sega Genesis Mini and it comes with this game.... holy shit, it's the hardest Contra game I've ever played.

How come there is no love on /vr/ for this game? I've never seen Contra Hard Corps discussed on here.

It's fun as hell. I can only get to the second level so far it's so difficult.

The first three games that came to mind were Contra Hard Corps, Rocket Knight Adventures, and Castlevania 3, but it definitely wasn't a phenomenon unique to Konami.
