Why are you guys always picking on my boy, Wrath? It was my first Crash and I love it.

Definitely worse than the original 3 but this game is a lot of fun. The level design is not too bad, yes there's a lot of mini games/vehicle sections but most I think are decently fun and Warped had an insane amount of vehicle levels as well. Only thing to really dislike about this game imo is character models.

I expected this game to merely be a mediocre rehash, but it turned out to be much worse than I expected. Slow and sluggish controls, bad hit detection, bad depth perception. It plays like a bootleg or some proof-of-concept tech demo created by a single person.

Seriously though, why the fuck didn't you like Wrath of Cortex? Travellers' Tales put their heart into it.

Crash Bandicoot 3 was the best PS1 Crash. Wrath of Cortex was a rip off of Crash 3 but better than 3, but also on PS2. Ergo, Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex was the best Crash.

Haven't played the new Crash that just came out. It might be better but I wouldn't know.

Does anyone know what instruments were used for the Wrath of Cortex soundtrack? A majority of it sounds like its from the Korg M1 with some JD-800 in there too. Most of the composer's other stuff centers around low-key jazz and the like. Are these good for those types of tracks too?
