There is fucktons made in Japan that never made it to the West. In fact the Japanese government scrapped and melted down all of a particular model of phone and as a result some of those games are lost forever. Ones that escaped scrapping are rare and we are left with whatever the owned downloaded, if anything.

I would have loved to have seen iD revisit their ancient shooters in the Catacombs series as an RPG in this engine. Would work really well considering it's aleady dark fantasy. I wonder if the source code for Doom RPG is out there? It would be awesome if people started modding it like they do with actual Doom. You could do some really cool shit.

The Catacomb games have a portrait, not sure if it ever smiles like that though.
