Are there any 3D platformer/shooter hybrids?

I mean games like megaman X or contra, that empathize shooting as much as platforming?

Suddenly I feel like playing games like that but I can only think of MDK.... and MDK2 and I already played those to to death.

MDK1 was absolutely amazing, I wish they made more levels.

World 2 was the most visually stunning for me. but those green floating deathbots scared the shit out of me as a kid.

In the second level of MDK most of the floor and walls seem to be mirrors that reflect the sky, however, it would have taken alot of processing power to pull that off, so what they did was simply render a skybox underneath the level and made the floor transparent.
