You're trying to use the PATA connector.

A 2001 vintage PC is more likely than not going to have a 3.5" diskette drive installed. Just plug your floppy drive into that cable instead.

Just found these and ordered all remaining stock haha. Got some XLR to RCA adaptors too.

Should be great for hooking SCART-equipped consoles to my Extron BNC switcher and rack-mounted BVM.
