No transparencies, yet still far better visuals than the N64.

As is typically the case with Nintendo hardware, the N64, despite being years newer and much more expensive, and "on paper" seeming to be "much more powerful", had serious bottlenecks and design flaws that would prevent it from seriously competing with the better engineered PS1 and Saturn hardware, often touting blurred and ugly textures, jagged and low polycount models, limited colour palettes with zero saturation or vividness, and, possibly worst of all, framerates that were often halved by comparison. It is typical Nintendo hardware: a terrible piece of hardware masquerading as "the most powerful", when, in fact, it is anything but.

If you're a nintendrone, maybe. We've always tried to talk about and enjoy the actually good game consoles in any given generation, only to be swamped by brainwashed nintendrones coming in saying "WHAT ABOUT THE NINTENDO SYSTEM?? WHAT ABOUT MARIO????" For far too long, everyone merely rolled their eyes and pretended to care, sure SNES, you're relevant too, sure N64, you've got games, whilst knowing deep down that Nintendo shit was laughable and pitifully inferior, but now the charade is up. We're tired of pretending and maintaining this myth that Nintendo was ever good. The N64 was an absolute joke and should be ignored like the other joke consoles of that generation.

The N64 was a fucking joke of a console, easily the worst of that generation, and suffering from serious and debilitating flaws that lead to overly blurry visuals and unplayably low framerates in games. Only the most deluded of nintendrones make an attempt to defend it, while Nintendo isn't exactly known for making great consoles, the N64 is easily at least the second worst. Pic related, it's a game infinitely better than that nintendrone trash, on supposedly "much less powerful" hardware. What a fucking sad state you have to be in to seriously be defending the N64 of all things.
