I always use first-release versions of ROMs for this reason. Older games almost never re-release to fix bugs or add more content, it's always to censor stuff.

For me, it's OOT. The religions of Hyrule should have stayed Abrahamic, with Link being Christian, Islam being a long-dead occult faith, etc.

Just noticed that in the old deku tree there are ledges that only adult Link can climb making a shortcut to the top, maybe we were supposed to go back as an adult.
