What does /vr/ think about the Indiana Jones games?

I ran Indy and the Last Crusade on a 386SX/20 with a Cirrus Logic ISA VGA card, both the original EGA version and the VGA rerelease.

The EGA version ran at a perfectly acceptable clip, the VGA version had noticeable pauses when you'd enter a new room as it had to slowly fill the video buffer. This was a game that also didn't have that much fast animation going on. Now imagine Wolf 3D on here. That 4 fps speed that >>4557625 sounds 100% believable.

Running Windows 3.1 on this computer was not particularly quick either, it would visibly fill in window boxes when you moved them around or opened/minimized them.
