Relevant. The entire series is great (as are its clones like Code Name Viper and Shinobi) but this one in particular. Always ignored it because the gameplay looked stiff and a bit unexciting, unlike other run 'n guns. But actually playing it is a very different experience, ended up being more intense and fun than Contra or Metal Slug. Tried Elevator Action Returns too soon after because it looked similar and I liked playing the original on the NES as a kid, but it just felt like a slower, and more boring version of Rolling Thunder. Great visuals and music, though.

Semi off-topic, but I once visited a Rolling Thunder fansite that had some scans from the RT2 OST with character concept art. They've not been uploaded to the VGMDB. Anyone has them?
