Despite being sort of autistic (or maybe because of it) Kazuki is actually really really good at killing people and a lot of other people see fit to make use of this. The story is really actually about every world power trying to kill or capture the waifu einstein twins and their armageddon bomb technology so every thing Kazuki does is either being held in custody or being on the run or being manipulated into another killing spree, and as far as the pretense for a crazy game about robots beating the shit out of each other with giant bats and flamethrowers its not that bad at all if you, like kazuki, just let yourself bet taken along for the ride.

I really like the future ghosts idea. I'm not really sorry for the people that wanted a one to one recreation of the original story.
It's going to be a mess.
