...why shouldn't they? There's nothing wrong with keeping a game playable on modern hardware. The only thing they shouldn't do is keep charging full price for a game from the 1990's.

But to the other anon's point, most subdivisions of this franchise don't play alike at all. Why should someone act like "Megaman has too many games" and then cite things like Battle Network or Megaman Legends as examples of beating a dead horse? These series play 100% differently. Someone tired of NES platformers isn't going to be weary from playing a deck builder game, or a 3rd person adventure title. Or is seeing a little man in blue armor that taxing on you?
