I could appreciate nice treble from a relatively young age but it took a REALLY nice stereo at a friend's house to make me start noticing.

P.S. I repair speakers for a living, I do know what I'm talking about when I say that the 14L5 and 20L5 speakers suck.

Full pic of cabinet. I re-did the surround on the bass myself because it fluctuates more and benefitted more from new surrounds (surrounds = that foam you talked about).
