Twinbee was a pretty big hit on Famicom in Japan. One of the biggest 3rd party games on the system, and the highest-selling Konami game on it.

FF1 wasn't very big in Japan during the Famicom times. It's a #63 best selling FC game, which isn't terribly high. but each new installment sold more than the previous one until FF7. That's probably why you see that in that list in >>9714931, FF6 > FF5 > FF4 > FF3 > FF2 > FF1.
The only exception where sales don't reflect the order is likely VIII, but I guess the reasons are obvious, the game being a bit of a black sheep.
