Depends on where you want to start. If you're familiar with programming languages you'll probably take to Zscript fastest, but you'll then have to work with GZDoom whether you like it or not. Decorate is super simple and even cavemen like me can learn to make stuff with it. ACS is a bit of a side one that has more to do with mapping, but can be used to make scripts affect the game in a lot of other ways as well. For art Frankenspriting is generally the way non-artists start, while 3d modelers can do some neat tricks to kinda generate sprites. Mapping is pretty simple to learn for the most part, but I feel like "good" mapping comes more from understanding encounter design and architecture.

is there any mod that just adds Daisy the rabbit as companion but weaponize her?
like make her go around very fast and leap on demons' face and grind their fucking face off with scratches and bites stunlocking the target in place like a chainsaw attack?

what is a monster mod that enhances the default Doom and Doom2 monsters but that doesnt make them bullshit broken like Brutal Doom Monsters Only?
and that is universally compatible with weapon and player mods?
like fuck sake with the BDMO mod a fucking trapdoor monster closet opens up behind you with just 3 of the shittiest AR zombies in it and they 100 to zero you before you can even turn around unless you got 200 fresh armor

also I dont like the gore system of BD first for aesthetic reason then for performance reasons and also because the way it works it breaks a shitton of map triggers
I want something simple that I can run with my no monsters variant of Supercharge + Nashgore
