Just got a new CRT a couple of months ago, and I was really surprised.
>nice old lady I used to go to church with asks me to help her move again

>offered me 40 bucks and a CRT she bought in '96 that she doesn't use anymore
>didn't really want another CRT TV because I had 10 of them but decided I'd look at it after helping her and make my choice then

>literally so dusty I couldn't even tell if it was in decent shape or beyond repair
>plugged it in and turned it on, everything seemed to be working okay and it still had the remote that came with it

>Took the combined strength of all four of us to load it in the back of her pickup
>get home and make my bodybuilder brother help help me get this fucker in the apartment
>TV nearly went Bane on our spines in the process
>clean it up non-stop for over 4 hours in every crack and crevice until I finish and die from exhaustion
Holy shit, this is the most immaculate CRT I've ever seen, not even a micro scratch and it looks like it just came off the assembly line. I've never seen a CRT in such near mint condition before. Everything looks so fucking beautiful on it I'm left speechless every time I see it. God I love old ladies and their autistic dedication to hoarding. Best TV I've ever had.
