As I said in >>5476394 though, random npcs are not comparable to main villains. Rasso is killed by Ryu in his rage, Yohm commits suicide, and the Fou Emperor is beheaded by Fou-Lu. Aside from Yuna all the main villains ultimately are killed as a consequence of their actions. Knowing some random npcs got away doesn't matter as most people forget about them anyway.

Even your argument in >>5477032 feels ridiculous. Yes, Yuna continues creating gods, that doesn't mean Ryu and tbe party's action were for nothing. They stopped what could have been the destrucution of tbe entire empire and further war being created. Yes, it'snot a full victory, but that doesn't make their accomplishment any less important.
