IV and X68K both have much superior level design to Bloodlines.

The gameplay is bad meme is absurd, Castlevania IV's controls are amazing. Different to Castlevania 1? Sure, but so are pretty much every other Castlevania game except for CV2 and CV3 playing with Trevor.
The music is also amazing, in fact every japanese-made Castlevania game has amazing music.
Bosses are hit or miss, but I'd still say they're better than Bloodlines' bosses. Only Bloodlines bosses I like are Moss (really cool boss fight) and Gargoyle (just okay), the rest are very dull and disappointing.
Dracula is OK too because it has 3 forms, but his 3rd form is very easy. What was weird is that his 2nd form felt like a better Death fight than Death itself, which felt like a lazy rehash on IV's Death with a silly rerun of old bosses before it.

yeah yeah I know, you will proceed to talk about how that doesn't count even though X68K has a lot of differences with CV1 and even similitudes with CV IV (down-whipping, anyone?).
I actually like both games and I don't consider either of them remakes of the first game, but I saved this pic to post the next time I saw this bait, so here it is.
