/vr/ - Retro Games

I love /vr/, but a lot of you guys care way too much about what other people do with their time and money. Makes for sour conversation.

I'm buying it. I also have a 9 year old daughter who is excited to play it. It's a lot easier to get children into video games when there's a physical dedicated machine to hook it up. She loves games but she isn't going to scroll through endless roms. That's boring. Hooking up a console to play these games is exciting. Know why? Because it's a toy that does something specific. Game consoles are toys. Children like toys. You are all grown men and this machine isn't made for cynical nerds who know how to exploit everything. Get over it.

Not really retro but I'm also really excited to hook up the new NES controller to the Wii U to play Shovel Knight.
