Here's where things get tricky. I really, really wanted to like the new PC games like Shadowrun Hong Kong but here’s what’s dumb about it:

- the lame “Tony Tough-nuts” cop character and sometimes lousy story (you know fukn Shadowrun novels and gangster movies from Hong Kong exist that you can *cough* rip off, right? I’m stuck in Hong Kong with this asshole cop? Oh, and he's my "friend"? I hate cops! Fuck this one in particular! And some guys are trying to kill us? Idiot writers of this need to do better. It makes your dick soft and I like hentai.

- bad Matrix/hacking (when compared to the Sega Genesis); it’s just a shitty translation of the sourcebook rules with mediocre graphics

- the fact you can’t go back to an area you just finished when you finally get enough money to buy that grenade launcher you previously couldn’t afford; really? FU!

- and no randomly generated missions to get cash 'n experience

- you’re stuck in whatever area you’re in as opposed to the Genesis game that lets me take a cab wherever else I wanna go and to buy stuff, talk with some assholes getting info, do JOBS for money and loot, etc.

- the graphics are of course better in many respects aside from the uninspired Matrix (seriously, fuck these clowns for this travesty)

- it feels like a straight port of the sourcebook (or just some shitty one) to the PC with story and gameplay limitations; the fighting/hacking in the Genesis game is more fun and not turn based like the PC games but that’s a preference you gotta judge

It’s all so tiring that I can’t complete it.
