Play Quake 2 on PSX. I'm going to get chewed out for this, but it's better than the PC version. The gunplay feels a lot more satisfying thanks to rumble and better feedback, the levels are colorful and atmospheric as fuck instead of grey and generic, enemies look a lot better, bosses are better, etc. I can completely see how you'd think the PC version felt that way because of how lacking in personality it is, but try the PSX version. Seriously, it's good and it doesn't look like a pile of ass.
