...Look. It's okay to like different things. I'll even give a reluctant pass to liking remakes that NEARLY killed the series (looking at you, Fire Emblem). What I CANNOT do, in good conscience, is say that it's okay to like remakes that ACTUALLY killed the series AND the goddamn company. Really, you have these remakes to thank for leaving Paper Mario unopposed in its current form. You have these remakes to thank for skipping the only game in the series that could have actually used a remake (Partners in Time). You have these remakes to thank for the fact that you're not getting another Mario & Luigi game. And you're actually still defending them? No, fuck YOU, we were vindicated after AlphaDream died.
