But seriously, played it with friend 2 years after it came out but couldn't get into it. Revisited many years later and got to the second disc I think.

Loved the atmosphere, and the music. Also the visuals had a certain charm. But dear god the random battles and grinding. I just couldn't carry it on. To me it takes so long for a battle to start after the whirly screen and you have the wait times between attacks.

I totally get why people love the game though.
