I love it, kinda wish I didn't knew about it before playing the game. I can only imagine the impact it had on people who played it blind.
The noise "music" during the battle was ahead of its time.

What bothers me the most is the name change to Gyiyg to Giegue to Giygas.
Giegue at least would sound somewhat similar to Gyiyg, I guess, but for Giygas they added that "as" at the end for no particular reason.
It also led to a lot of fan theories about Giegue and Giygas being 2 different beings.
