It is the best one. Other two are good too but gimmicky, more style and less substance. Crash 1 is DKC1 in 3D and it's better for it. 100%'ing it is also a nice challenge unlike 2 and 3.

No, you're not. 1 is unironically the best one. With Crash, less was more. Having a gay non diegetic hub to choose your levels was a bad move and most non platforming levels in 2 and 3 are just gimmicky and underwhelming. Crash 1 is like DKC1, and it's better for it.

Crash 1 is the best Crash game, period. 2 and 3 are very good, but less is more when it comes to Crash. 1 is essentially 3D DKC1 and it's awesome. Only real complaint that could be justified is the stupid way to save the game, and I also wish all the extra cut stages made it into the game.

Based. I love all 3 but 1 is the best one. It's like DKC1 in 3D. The island is cohesive, as worlds go on you start getting into levels inside Cortex's lab, until you start climbing his castle. It has no gimmicks, it's straight platforming sweetness.

eeh. I still have my collection of physical games, but since the resale prices have skyrocketed I stopped guying games individually. I keep my games in storage and use flashcarts and burned CDs. I'm contemplating selling off my physical games in the future anyway.
