You are having loads of fun playing the best jrpgs on your snes console like never before when, suddenly, an evil wizard appears from thin air. He looks at you with his yellow eyes, and yells a curse: suddenly, your cherished snes turns into a sega genesis. No snes jrpg will run on this system.

The evil wizard dissapears as fast as he appeared. After wipping away your tears, you accept your situation and try to take the best of it.

Now, the question is: what jrpgs do you play to make up for the loss?

Why are these literally the only genres the Genesis had?

So I recently got a Sega Genesis, and the 6-pak, but I don't really know too many good games for it, do you guys have any recommendations?

Let's talk Genesis. And I don't mean just games. I mean everything. NES and SNES have a much stronger following, so it seems more...'cultural'. You hear a lot more stories and interesting things about Nintendo systems. I wanna hear everything you can say that's interesting about the Genesis.

Give me the whole thing. Most I can think about is being able to reset in order to get all of the Chaos Emeralds more easily in Sonic or how Joe Musashi MIGHT be canon to the Marvel universe.

What model of Genesis should I get? Does it matter?
