Not a single mention of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake? Let's talk about it.

It really is quite impressive that they basically were able to accomplish everything that MGS did gameplaywise in 2D environment however MG2 also has ridiculous amount of backtracking in it. I usually don't like to complain things like this but it also features some bullshit like the morse code thing NOT being available anywhere in the game or in it's manual (at least in the Metal Gear 3 Subsistence version for Playstation 2 that I played) and the hand-gliding thing also didn't work the way the game claimed it to. Still for a game made in 1990 it is great apart from these little things. Thoughts? Opinions?
