Reminder for you faggots who no longer have an Xbox (or like me, never had one to begin with). Halo CE on PC is fucking awesome and you can be playing it 5 minutes from now.
>1. Download Halo: Combat Evolved from here: https://gamesnostalgia.com/game/halo-combat-evolved
>2. Extract, install.
>3. Download Chimera mod, which fixes a few bugs on modern hardware and adds a few quality of life features like being able to change the FOV. You can find it here: https://opencarnage.net/index.php?/topic/6916-chimera-download-source-and-discord-updated-2022-03-12/
>4. Extract to your Halo root folder, when asked if you want overwrite the files, just select yes for all.
>5. Run halo.exe, make a profile, adjust settings as desired.
>6. Play and enjoy.
You can also download "Halo CE Refined" if you want to restore some of the visual effects from the OG Xbox version. I don't use this because I kind of like it the way it is, but it's there of you want it. Either way, have fun.
