Don't think I ever saw anyone play HL in software rendering. Wonder what it's there for anyway, the game was made with filtering in mind.

But hey it's /vr/ for you. The general advice in most threads here seems to be:
- Get the oldest possible version of the game, it's AUTHENTIC and the developers should've never patched or improved on it in any way.
- Run it on the oldest compatible hardware you can find. it's the only way to make it ACCURATE.
- Turn all the graphics options to minimum, go for that BEAUTIFUL 320x240 resolution.

I don't even know anymore, I feel like this board is just a circle jerk where we troll people into being shitty retro gamers.
