Not really. They're not particularly good shots with grenades, and they rarely opt to use it before their primary. Unless it's a brown marine, those guys really are death at range.

They're generally not completely silent, even marines rack their gun or grunt occasionally. Besides, they're stupid. Fast, tough, and tenacious if they get the jump on you, but easily ambushed themselves.
