Forgot to mention that the Japanese version (which is apparently the later release) took out the item shops completely and just allowed you to choose your character from the get-go like any other beat-'em-up.

If it's anything like that shitty iOS/Android compilation, I'll pass. They didn't even bother to include the Japanese version of DD3 (the one without the credit-feeding item shops).
