People laugh at this setup but I genuinely used to game with something really similar. My friend had a partially open crawl space underneath his house. Most of it was filled with dirt, but near the entrance they removed some of it to use as storage. He had a tube TV and a gamecube down there. My most vivid memory is how cold it was down there while we would play StarFox Assault multiplayer and sit on bags of mulch.
