I'm reading a bit about Sharp X68000 monitors. There's a good page about them here:

According to that page the 21" monitors have a dot pitch of 0.52mm. A 21" monitor is 426.72mm wide. So:

426.72mm / 0.52 = approximately 819 dot trios across

So would that mean these monitors have around 800 TV lines capability? That sounds about right to me since they are 15/24/31khz monitors 800 would enough to have 640x480 looking very clear and nice on them.
