I know many don't care about sports video games, but I feel this was the best one on the Master System, it was better than most football/soccer titles on the Genesis even.

3. TECMO World Cup '93 (SMS/1993)

When i saw that the previous game had a Master System version, i had to try it, and i've got to say, this really impressed me, especially since i've tried other footy games for the system before, and they can't compare to this, at least in my eyes.

This legit has things about it that are more advanced than the Genesis game, the field of view is much further away, allowing the player to see more of the pitch, which is always nice, and even with the smaller sprites, it actually has numbers in the back of the shirt and on top of the player indicator, which is incredible for an 8bit system.

The football itself does some things different from Genesis game, it's faster and the ball is more free, i can't say if it's a better game or not, it's a matter of taste really, but either way what they've achieved on this hardware is impressive, it's a must play.
